Terrie O’Connor, a successful real estate salesperson since 1981, founded Terrie O’Connor Realtors in 1991 with the simple principle of providing both her sales associates and her clients with the utmost support to ensure they can make their dreams come true.  

 

Terrie is licensed in both New York and New Jersey where she and her company have helped thousands of businesses and families.  She began her successful real estate career working in both sales and management for a regional real estate company.  Terrie worked extensively with corporate transferees as well as marketing residential properties and new construction.  As an entrepreneur,  she felt the calling to open her own company, Terrie O'Connor Realtors, in 1991 as a one-office boutique.  Since its early beginnings, the company’s philosophy of service and support has attracted an impressive broker management team, an experienced staff and an ever-growing roster that today boasts approximately 400 talented and enthusiastic real estate professionals in 8 locations.

As both the daughter and then wife of U.S. Naval officers, Terrie has lived in such places as Malta, Hawaii, Panama and England as well as a dozen places in the continental United States, from the East Coast to the West.  

 

Terrie is a past Chairman of the Board of the Builders Association of northern New Jersey and was the first woman President in 1994 and 1995.  Her company fosters among its employees and sales associates the importance of giving back to the communities it serves.  Terrie’s own many volunteer activities and professional memberships demonstrate her deep commitment to her profession, her colleagues and her community.  In 2015, she was honored by the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce as Humanitarian of the Year.  Terrie is resident of the Saddle River Grand and President of the Board.
